Well... sometimes one liners is all it takes to get your point across (i.e. posts 38 and 39 are complete thoughts based on the post before it), thus I don't think expanding for just the sake of being longer is really a necessity, and is actually more of a waste of both the poster's and the readers' time.

That said, one liners are not always complete thoughts, and are often spammed replies to up one's post count (i.e. like saying "I totally agree." in a posted response to something previously posted, and nothing more), and that I can see being frowned upon.

Regardless, this is the first message board I've ever been a member of that had what could be called a "no one liner" policy, and so I've been making an effort to flesh out my thoughts when posting since the mod edit on one of my first posts requested that I not make such short posts... but honestly... sometimes it can't be helped... like here, in post 39. I mean... how long of a post should it take to point out that there are only 6.7 billion people on the planet?

Does that make sense?

(Note: I'm not trying to be difficult or anything, I'm just saying.)

Then maybe you need to read our site rules. You can find them in my signature. We consider spam on this site to be a one-liner post. Please don't try and go against me if I ask you to do something. I wasn't just referring to just you. I understand that one-liners might be needed to get your point across but judging the way you've been posting in here, I think you did get your point across and a one-liner post to add on wasn't necessarily needed.

I'll admit that I'm often guilty of driving the point home when it doesn't need to be (as was the case here)... but yeah... anyway...I was just saying, and it seems you understand.

Also, like I said at the end of my previous post, I'm not try to be difficult, thus I wasn't going agaisnt you or anything... I was jsut presenting a thought.

Anyway! Back to the topic at hand!

I can't wait for this to come out... but based on the fact that Genesis is a key player in Crisis Core, and has only previously been seen at the end of Dierge of Cerberus, I think that a further sequel (taking place after DoC) would be more likely than a remake of FFVII.

P.S

I've ordered my Limited Edition PSP from eBay for £220 ($440). Looking forward to it

Bah. I almost keeled over when I saw that in the credits. X__x
I said "I knew it, I knew it!!!"
And then I saw the tech demo scene...it giveded me goosebumps. ;__;

I really hope that there is a remake...
I was shocked at how much more emotional Zack's death was at the end of the game than it was in the flashbacks in FFVII.

...ok, that's not really a spoiler...

The neverending speculation... That video was there in the Japanese version a long while ago. I doubt that its confirmation. If anything Square just wants to string you along cause it makes us more fanatic and willing to buy ~laughs~

I'm still not sure FFVII would be plausible remake... I mean would a NEW game still have the same impact if you new a certain character died?

I mean how many people would buy it out of pure nostalgia...

Yeah, the ending of Crisis Core was pretty much depressing, but good. I remember finishing the event in Nibleheim, and thinking, "Oh man, here it comes." Ha, it was kinda' hard to play the rest knowing Zack was going to die.

For the final scene, with Cloud aboard the train, I'm pretty sure it's not a confirmation to a remake, but probably just a way for them to make you replay FF7 (which I've recently done...good memories) and to make you more connected to the FF7 universe. Though, a remake would be nice <.< (I'm looking at you square-enix).

Still, sweet game, killer ending, and just, I don't know, sweet.
