Doesn't it bother you?
Yo, I just got Crisis Core for my B-Day and I'm playin' it until the Aerith scene and say to myself, "Hey, that sumbitch fell through the roof and offered to take Aerith out for a date!" Does that make sense? Why did Square have to replicate that exact scene. It's like watching Cloud as a brunette.
The main question here is "Are you sickened by this?" Answer furiously if you must!

Well... Final Fantasy VII is five years after Crisis Core, and at the time, Cloud was emulating Zack's personality. So really, it's the original scene, and not a replication.
Though... technically, I'm incorrect.

Not at all, really. Though, Aerith saying hooray spooked the shit out of me.

I did thought that was kinda odd at first, but there really was nothing wrong with it. If anything, it actually made the scene more memorable and yet heart-wrenching to know that Cloud wasn't the first one to fall onto Aerith's bed of flowers.

you know at first i was kinda like...wtf the same scene from ff7 when cloud fell. but then i realized you were in a mako reactor just like cloud was when he fell and kinda realized the symbolism behind it when i beat the game and found out cloud was living out zacks life. kinda sad really, cus cloud does the same thing, and ends up falling for aeris just like zack but ends up like zack...shit outta luck

Well SE was obviously going for a nostalgic approach with that scene. They were merely making a reference to the original (kinda like the opening scene with the train).
