battle system is ok, its not amazing in my opinion. I know its new and new is sometimes good, but what the hell was wrong with Turn-based battles? They're SO MUCH more strategic. You have to now hope you can cure yourself before the enemy knocks you out.
still a good game though. im 2 hours into the English version

I did end up getting Crisis Core yesterday...and not only did I get CC on the release day...I also got my PSP modded, so it now has hundreds of games on the memory card...
Unfortunately...(and this is just my luck)...my bf left the PSP charger at work, and my battery died seconds after I turned it on. I'm still waiting for him to bring it home (if he remembers) tomorrow morning.

I didn't get it because I find paying full price for psp games ridiculous. But if this game really is actually good, I'll probably pick it up eventually, or just borrow/trade for it.

I know. I only just realized that you could copy games to your PSP memory stick...and...I feel like I got seriously ripped off on all the games I recently got...X__x

Wait...is the storyline good, or are you being sarcastic? XD
I still haven't had a chance to get a new charger so I can start playing. =[
I hear a lot of people complaining about missions...

The missions aren't THAT bad. They're really easy on normal mode, and missions don't seem to bother me at all.
I got Crisis Core last night, man CC is addicting. I love the battle system so far! I'm taking a break from it for a bit, I can't indulge myself too much. I have high hopes for Square Enix again!

I would love to get this and play it, but I don't see myself getting a PSP at all, and I hate hand-held gaming. I
m trying to go through FFIII on the DS, and I just can't get into it.
I do really want to get the story down-pact though, so I may buy the game myself if I can bum the handheld off of a friend of mine.

No, I didn't get it on the launch day! Mainly because I knew if I went and tried to purchase it and it wasn't out on the shelves, for some reason or other, I'd be majorly pissed. So I'm giving the stores time to stock the shelves and have it ready. I still have yet to get it. Ugh. But when I do, I'll be a happy happy lady. I really look forward to playing it! Hopefully I won't be let down. I need something after the disappointment that was XII.

FFIII is hard to "get into" especially having played so many other games on the PS2/ gamecube/ ect.. that blow the DS away, but I have to say CC on the PSP is really easy to get hooked on. I'm sure you would like it Busta.
I enjoy the side missions as they let you build up your character before embarking on another part of the story. As far as the price its 40 USD and to me its totally worth it. Now the PSP at 150 USD that can hurt the ole wallet. but the games are finally coming down and like already said you can save them on a memory stick as well. (with an upgrade that I want)
