Like girls, gamer girls are going to be different, y'know? You'd actually probably be better off asking their friend - only a friend you could trust would keep it secret/surprise - if you reaaally wanted to impress them.

Adding "gamer" to "girl" really doesn't make a lot of difference. Some gamer girls will be no different to "normal" girls, while others will be...

In fact, there's very little difference at all. Some will want sweet sensitive guys, others will want a challenge. You'd truly be better off treating the girl as an individual girl! Games are just a common interest, not a personality trait. So, if I were you, I'd consider getting to know a girl as a friend first, using the common interests, such as gaming, as a starting point. As you get to know the girl, you yourself are more likely to have a feel as to what would work.

And if you don't, then...well, asking for help will be more realialbe. Which question is likely to recieve a more accurate answer?

"What do you think a gamer girl would like?"

or

"I like a girl, who's really sweet and friendly. Although she's a bit shy, I'd really like to ask her out on a date but I'm not sure how to do it. (This girl happens to like games). How should I go about it?"
"The girl I like is really independent and, over the course of our friendship, has expressed annoyance at people who make romantic gestures. I'm not sure how to ask her out. (This girl happens to like games also.

) How should I go about it?"

I agree with Lirael.

Gamer Girls aren't all the same!
Though then again, we do have things in common as well.

As funny as it may sound, being a girl and saying this, girls don't know what they want. I mean in general, if you ever argue with a girl, you'll understand what I mean.

We want want to be left alone yet we want to be comforted. All girls, including gamers, are like that.

Well, my vote goes for girl gamer, though it really depends if they've ever been in a relationship or not. It could be a guy as well, ya know? Now if I had both a guy and girl gamer who were in a relationship, I think I'd go with girl. (if I were a guy!)

We're all great though.

But yes, being nice to them is very important, but showing them how much you care about them by getting them something they'd really like, or even making something for her, if you make the thing well, that could be even better.

Never do this on a first date or if you don't know them very well. Unless its a drink in teh Pub. But don't go impressing to quickly.

Neither would be better. At the end of the day each and every girl is diffrent, you cannot generalize any 'group' how they would react. The best thing to do is to be yourself and if it doesn't work it doesn't work (probably being a good thing), yet if it does work your in for an epic time.

I could do with a nice gamer girl of sorts, but alas there isn't many about these parts that I know about excluding the emo 'omgz i luv retro segas' types who look like Noel Fielding in the morning after a heavy night drinking and MDMA.

Gamer Girl for sure. But no advice is perfect, as everybody is different. So you shouldn't rely too heavily on guides
