Insomnia

It's 6am on the dot and Im still awake, untill about 5 minutes ago I was wide awake. Iv painted a picture played FF12, Phantasy Star Uiverse & and watched two U2 DVD's

Its the bane of my life and now there is no point in me going to bed at all because my daughter will be awake in an hour or 2

Why does sleep (or the lack of it) torment me so much

Im know Im not the only one but bloody hell it feels like every other bugger is tucked up in bed while Im pottering round my house wide awake

I spend at least an hour just laying in bed every night waiting to fall asleep. It's really common with me, though when I get too pissed off about it, I turn on the tv and come on the computer for like 30min before I try going back to sleep again.

Iv just given up trying to get to sleep until Im ready to pass out, Iv always had issues with my sleeping pattern and if I try to lay in bed I just get annoyed at myself & then it's even harder for me to sleep.

Even on school nights I stay up until time to get ready or I will go to bed at 5 getting rdy for school time is 7 >___> I get so little sleep It's not even funny. Your right though EVERYONE is sleep and that's why it's annoying to be awake when no one else is x.x

i always listen to music to help me sleep, i watch tv sometimes at 2 in the morning, its summer over here, so its hard to get to sleep because it can be 20 degrees in the night.

but its not all bad, i remembered i had to shave for school once, and because i was still awake, i went and had a shave, although it was 3am

Insomnia hits me off and on. For the last few night I slept pretty well. But at the moment, I am suffering from insomnia. I think I have the problem because maybe I just do not need to sleep right now. My internal clock does not tick to the same beat as the world clock I guess.

I've been having a lot of sleep trouble recently. It always takes me a few hours to fall asleep after going to bed, but I've been like that for a good few years now. Recently though I seem to be noticing that I get less and less sleep, and sometimes I spend all night lying in bed but get no sleep, which is really annoying. >.<

I would say that on an average school night I get about 4 hours sleep (sometimes more, sometimes a lot less). But then at the weekends I sleep until 12 usually...

I used to be the world's best sleeper, but over the last two or three months insomnia has been coming and going for me. I know exactly why in both cases. So if yours is anything like mine, you've got a hell of a lot on your mind that keeps you up at night. I can't recommend anything that would make it better, since it's like, a stress related thing. So you just have to deal with whatever that is. =/

Last week was the first week of the new year where I actually managed to sleep every night, which felt good. I do tend to have great problems switching off at night, my brain just constantly keeps cycling through what's happened and what's to come without giving me any relief. Music doesn't seem to help too much, as that gets my brain switched right on again, and reading just bores the hell out of me without actually making me feel sleepy, I'm cursed I tell ya'!
