I'm starting to get slightly worried by situations like this
You know, you're walking along and then some randomer on the other side of the road, or someone who you walk past waves at you and shouts your name. And you just think 'do I know you at all?' Things like that are starting to happen far too often for comfort now. Yesterday I walked past a group of girls and one of them tapped me on the shoulder as I did, and said "hi Pooley." I just looked at her and walked off because I have no idea who the hell it was.

It's probably because you have a profile picture and many of FFF meber view your profile, they see you and say hi. Though, why won't they introduce themselves or something?

that happens to me all the time. and apparently I make a really weird face because when I try to BS my way through the conversation they ask me what their name is.

People do that to me all the time at school. I'll just be walking down the hall minding my own business, and some random Freshman and Sophomore that I have never met in my life will shout "HI JOSH!" from across the hallway. I'll just nervously say "hi" back, but I don't know their name. I guess they know me because of all of the stuff I do around school, but still it's weird for them to say hi without ever having met me personally. >_>

Happens to me too, often at that... I always guess they're just people I've seen once at some party or something, and didn't remember then, but they remembered me, so dont be too worried

This is probably the wrong time to tell you, but have you ever seen the Truman Show? Yeah. .....Your life is actually just a television program for the rest of us. I really enjoyed last week's episode though 
That sort of thing happened to me a few weeks ago. I joined the women's volleyball team, and during practice, the men's volleyball team walked into the gym. I was standing on the sidelines, and I heard my name coming from where they were sitting several times. I looked over, and they were all staring at me. They laughed and waved. And then I heard them start talking about me (in Japanese though, so God knows what they said...). ....Yeah, I have never introduced myself to any of them. Hell if I know how they know my freakin' name.

Whats worse, not knowing them at all? or remembering their face but not their name. so when u can't remember their name, they get all offended and say u dont remember them. the latter happens to me all the time

I just try to avoid sentences in which I have to use their name...
If they say "Hi Mugs" I just say "Hi there." no names
