Ever been in one of those situations where you're just tired of waiting for that tech repair guy/your best friend to fix something and you just do it yourself? Doesn't it just give you a great feeling of accomplishment?

It gives me quite the feeling of accomplishment if I'm able to fix something without someone's help, especially if I believe that I'm lacking in a lot of knowledge in this kind of repair.

yesterday my guitar fell over and de-tuned. being the newb I was, I didn't know how to get it back in tune. After about two hours of being bored as fuck, I just started playing songs that required me to play only one string at a time, and eventually got it back in tune.
It felt good tbh.

I have an electronic tuner, because it's better to play some songs a semi-tone lower than they should be played. Welcome to the Jungle for example

But I know what you mean, I feel pretty proud after I fix CD players and Ipods.

I know what you mean. I always relied on my dad to tune my guitar but I learned how and now it's like *snap* But this hardly happens to me, I like to do things myself and learn from mistakes and all those other cliches

Yer, same thing happens to me, sometimes the guitar is out of tune and I have to go to my brother to tune it, and he's just a lazy fak and won't help me

So I tried it on my own a few times and now I can tune a guitar myself

Same thing with the PC, I can work it but I don't know shajt if something goes wrong, and go immediately to my neighbor for help. But this one time he wasn't there and I couldn't wait so I tried to fix is on my own. And I did, it was a good feeling... knowing that you're not as dumb as you thought

I tend to do any repairs and the like myself, most electronic repairs I know enough to plug together if necessary.

And yes, scary scene was scary...

The only stuff I have to do with that could possibly ever need maintenance are computers/laptops etc. I've been trained in a completely unrelated way to my job, so I can actually tinker with the internal components of a PC if need be without supervision/guidance. Software-wise I'm pretty savvy too, so I just get on with whatever needs doing.

Anything with TVs and such things on the other hand, and I'm very much a mong.

I have AP, so people always had me tune their guitars for them

But I know what you mean, it's pretty damn good when you can do something for yourself. I can deal with a lot of music-related electronics, which is pretty good for a girl ^^

I'm starting to cook for myself now. I make some pretty edible dishes ranging from Cheesy Hamburger Mac, Grilled Cheese with Egg, and basically anything with cheese

I got tired of asking my mom for food so I eventually started doing it myself.
