How's your luck?

Do you consider yourself lucky on maybe a daily basis? Or are you just plain unlucky?

As for me, I'm usually on the lucky side but this year has been the worst year so far. It just so happened that a record number of freshman university applicants applied to colleges all over the United States this year and I got screwed out of most of the colleges I applied to and had a more than legitimate shot at getting into.

My luck is fantastic when it comes to driving. People never hit me (and today 3 people almost backed into me), I always get these funny feelings that I should slow down when there's a cop just a little further up the road, and yeah...my luck just pwns with driving.

School it's weird. In some classes I have incredibly good luck with guessing on tests, other classes I have the worst luck. And I just have HORRIBLE luck when it comes to classmates. There's usually less than 5 people I find in all my classes combined that I even bother talking too, let alone any hot girls (and when there are, they're never single).

I have piss poor luck I swear it

Just look at Janes sig for my dramas yesterday. If it can go wrong it will go wrong with me. It's a damn good job I have a good sense of humour

I seem to be weirdly lucky with money tho....I always seem to get unexpected cheques or accidental over payments that they never ever chase.......more shoes for me

I guess I'd say I'm lucky. I'm healthy (as far as I know), have great family and friends, and a good chance to obtain a decent career once I'm finished with my education. Haven't been killed on the road yet, so that's gotta count for something. I can't win shit on these lottery ticket things I get every now and then, though. haha

Is there a difference between being fortunate and lucky?

I'm fairly unlucky. Which is why probability is a great thing for me.

I don't believe in people or objects having a certain ability to be lucky, but as luck goes, I'm a fairly unlucky person. I can never seem to get good things to come my way, and whenever I get a chance, it just never goes well.

Meh, I don't really believe in luck. But to answer your question, there are a lot of good fortunes that has come my way and that's because I've worked hard for it. So yeah, uh I guess that is considered lucky to a certain degree.

But then again, there are those misfortunes that happens on a daily basis too. Nothing major, so I don't really give enough thought about whether it's me being lucky or not. Whatever happens, happens.

I don't really believe in luck (or 'having' luck), but I generally tend to have good things happen to me. When bad things happen, it's typically because I didn't put in enough effort, time, or care. Lately, I've had an equal share of good and bad things happening to me, but I guess when looking back over the past few years, I've had more 'bad' luck than 'good'.
