So living alone for as long as I have you would think I'd know how to operate the washing machine properly, cook, iron all that usual bollocks that comes with living alone

I use 3 whole dials on the washing machine...3, 4 and 6. I'm fucked if I know what the rest do. Those 3 are just the temperatures. It was only since I moved to this house that I started checking clothes labels for what temperatures they need. It's no wonder I used to dye things or wash the print off the front

And everytime I iron I either burn my self or burn what Im ironing, I have learned to iron everything inside out so any potential burn marks can't be seen

I can't cook for shit, I still don't know how to work the cooker at my mums, I was never allowed near it and I hate the hoover. With a PASSION

I think housework and all things are a hazard to myself.

So who here is housetrained?

I'm the perfect housewife tbqh. I can cook, I clean, I wash the dishes and I'm just as bad as mother if something's out of place.

I'll be fine.

Anywho, yep I can do these things. I know how to use the Oven (self taught!

), the ironing I can do, just, and I can clean and wash dishes.

I'm not too bad at most things, I can cook moderately (though I have a habit of forgetting to keep an eye on the food and badly burn it

) I can iron fine, I can clean well enough and generally keep stuff tidy (or at least to the point of not tripping over stuff or walking into them

). Though washing machines and me don't get on... Why are they so darn confusing?

I've never tried ironing, but if I did I'd probably burn something. I can vacuum quite well and I can fix doors, mend sinks, all that kind of stuff.

I can cook a very little. I think all I can manage is sausage/burger and chips and spaghetti bolognese, but even that is out of a jar.

I've got the washing machine sussed out, that's not hard at all. I just need to remember which little bit of the drawer the tablet an conditioner goes in. Other than that, I'm about as house trained as a monkey on Pro Plus.

I can cook anything that involves a microwave and a toaster...which generally means toast and something else.

I can do the ironing and wash the dishes too! Although when it comes to anything like using the washing machine/oven and stuff like that I don't have a clue what to do.

I can operate a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, oven, and such. It's really pretty simple. I've been cooking rice ever since I was five years old (without a rice cooker - we used a pot and cooked it on the stove and just had to be on the look out for it) so I guess I've been house-trained, yes. Um, my dad's very strict about that. Cultural thing, you see, which I'd rather not get into.

I like hoovering and ironing and stuff like that. I've never tried using the washing machine before though so wouldn't know how it works. As for cooking I say that I can't cook but really I just don't cook. I'm sure I could manage if I followed a recipe though, I used to be able to make a good stir-fry. I used to go to food club after school but forgot all of the things I made. >_> I was alright but occasionally had the random disaster like exploding chocolate bread in the oven.
