• FFXV's multiplayer expansion, "Comrades", receives a new trailer; will launch on 31 October

For those of you eager to sink your teeth into Final Fantasy XV's multiplayer expansion DLC, "Comrades", formerly only available last month as a limited closed beta test, will be fully available from 31st October. Players will take up the role of Kingsglaive survivors in a quest to discover the truth behind the disappearance of a certain royal prince...

Square Enix have released a new trailer for Comrades as part of their current Tokyo Game Show lineup. Nobuo Uematsu is back on board with a new vocal track, with Japanese singer Emiko Suzuki lending her voice. The song is aptly titled "Choosing Hope".

As Comrades is a multiplayer expansion, it will require a subscription to either PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live. While players can purchase the new game mode separately at launch, it will be automatically available to bearers of the game's Season Pass.
