I thought we'd just post in a thread? That seems like the simplest and most logical method to me.
I assume that the submission dates have been altered due to the server move?

I thought we were going for actual judges on this, rather than votes?
I'd really rather that happened, since a judge actually knows what they're talking about. And what does it matter if people know who's it is anyway? Votes along the lines of "im voting for such-and-such cuz i liek dem lololol" should be discounted.

1) I was planning on having a submission thread where people could just openly submit their pieces, however...judging from my past experience with people not being capable of reading the rules...I've decided not to use that method.
2) You can submit your pieces to me via PM.
You can have your name on your submission, or you may remain anonymous. Just tell me which you would prefer upon submitting your piece to me.
3) The deadline has not been altered due to the server move. I had this thread up a few days prior to the server move, and I've had a notice up around the forums and on the shoutbox for several days now.
The last day for submissions is September 30th. That's in 15 days ya'll. =]
4) The winner will be determined by a panel of judges. Each judge will individually read each submission and give the piece a 1-100 point score. The person who's submission receives the highest average rating, wins the competition.
The judges will be carefully selected for this specific competition by moi. If you have anyone in mind, mention, mention.
5) The next writing competition will begin within the first week of October.

That would probably work for some people. But to be honest, that isn't the draw of it for me.
I think I'll enter if I can think of a good enough scene, and find the time to write it.
