Art Competition!
Spring-Themed Art Contest!
Yes folks, you read the title right!  Cerridwen and I were having a nice chat on MSN about the artworks we see around the site and had a great idea. How about we have an art contest? There a lot of people on here who love to draw, myself and Cerridwen have both seen it and we thought this might be fun for you members. So myself, Cerridwen and Mitsuki as well, have now decided we're going to hold an art contest! There will be prizes rewarded to the winners, but I'll get to that at the end here. Now onto the rules.
Theme: Romance in the Springtime
Draw your favorite couple from any Final Fantasy game (this includes Kingdom Hearts, FF Tactics, Crystal Chronicles, etc...) that you wish. It needs to be spring in the drawing or at least suggest that. Examples would be Aerith and Cloud together in a flower field, Tidus and Yuna standing in the rain, Cloud and Tifa walking together under an umbrella, etc...
Rules:
1. Your picture must be hand drawn; NO official artwork or photo manipulations allowed. We want to see you be creative, but also feel free to use references to help you along in your work, just don't directly copy it. If you need to see what a garden looks like, look it up on Google. Things like these are highly encouraged!
2. You can PM your submissions to either myself or Cerridwen.
3. You can use any type of media you wish. Traditional work like painting, watercolors, pencil sketches, colored pencils, markers are all accepted or digital work done in Photoshop, GIMP, Paint Shop Pro, etc...will also be accepted.
4. We will not tolerate art theft. Be creative! Draw your own ideas! I know plenty of FF artists so I will be able to tell if you've ripped off somebody else's fan art or copied their picture. Any member who does this will be suspended from the site for a week and will be banned from entering any further contests.
5. When you're finished with your drawing, we would prefer for it to be scanned, but if that's not possible a high quality digital photo will do.
6. No nudity is allowed, nothing suggestive or sexual, COUPLES only, and no love triangles allowed, no yaoi or yuri either. Also, only one couple per submission. Any entries that suggest any of this will be deleted and the person banned.
7. Only one entry per person allowed.
8. Do not copy an original artist's style such as Amano. If that's the direction your own style is in that's fine, but we don't want to see direct copies of official works. There's no problem with it as long as that's your natural style, but we want to see you be as original as possible!
9. You must have a post count of at least 100 to enter.
Alright, that's the end of the rules and now onto the prizes!
Prizes
1st place: Gets a game of their choice for any gaming console be it PS 2, Nintendo DS, PSP, etc...
2nd place: Gets a Final Fantasy wallscroll
3rd place: Gets a Final Fantasy keychain
I think that is that! Remember to read and follow each of the rules! The contest will begin and run through January 1st- March 1st. Cerridwen and I will start accepting submissions on January the 1st and will continue accepting them until the deadline. You have plenty of time to get think about what you want to draw and plenty of time to get started. Happy drawing and good luck everyone!

Is this competition strictly for the main FF series or are the other series allowed as well? (Kingdom Hearts series, FFTactics, etc.)

Another questions, just calls out loud, being very rude
With the prizes, will you actually send it to us in the mail? so you'll need our adresses? and will you send it overseas, like from your place to Australia?

Yes, anything Final Fantasy related is fine. (Kingdom Hearts, Tactics, Crystal Chronicles) If it's something odd like any of the FF movies for example, just name where the couple is from.

Obviously xD how else would we get the prizes to the winners? We'll worry more about that when the time comes for the contest to end and the judging is complete ^_~

Is this contest secretive? As in...are we allowed to blabber about who we're going to draw? XD
