Chrono Trigger - Page 5

i was in 4th grade when this game was released in the usa...ive probably beaten it...well alot of times considering it is not very long, but ive gotten all stars stats for every character in every category...to do so u do have to beat the game around 7 times and get keep ur stats and correct the rite accessories, any other advice email me

oh yea the point of this post! in my top 5 rpgs of all time, FFVI and FFVII being tied at first

Well, while I do love Cross as well...you got to admit that Trigger just plain had TONS more Character Development in it's pinky finger than Cross had in it's whole body...That's the main thing that made me sad when playing Cross...

I've said it a lot, but...at least Crono had a fuggin surprised sprite! lol

i still liked cross a lot more. the main characters had a good bit of development but there were a LOT of supporting characters so there was no way they could develop all the characters thoroughly.

Yeah, they should have just had a smaller, core cast of Serge (White), Kid (Red), Harle (Black), Leena (Blue), Glenn (Green), Karsh (also Green) & Norris (Yellow)...maybe Guile (Black) or they could just actually HAVE Magus...MAYBE Riddel for another White...but I think she could just as easily have been a good NPC...MAYBE Zoah & Marcy for another Yellow & Blue...maybe Grobyc, since he fills that Robo void...but anyways, w/a smaller cast they could have fleshed out those characters significantly better...As is I think they only really did a good job w/Kid...and maybe Harle a lil bit...kinda...*shrugs* There just wasn't enough unique dialog or anything for anyone else. It was all just cut&paste w/a different stupid accent....
