Seems almost like the RP i made up...

Introduction:
This a new way of battling that is sort of RPG-ish but with your characters you create and its used in RP battles. Basically, your objective in these battles is to make your opponents HP reach 0. I myself, Luxord, will be watching over each battle decreasing your HP when you get hit. Each damage that is taking all depends on how powerful the attack is.

For example: If you have a really powerful attack you must explain how much energy is taking away then I will rate it from 1 to 5, if it was a magic attack rated at 3 and the users MAG attack is 20 it would equal out like this.

MP = 20
MAG = 20
Magic Attack rated at 3 took aprox 15 MP.
Results:
Magic Attack = 20 * 3
Damage = 60
MP = 20 - 15
MP = 5

Stats:
You can raise your stats in three different categories:

Strength:
Your physical damage.

Intelligence:
Your magical damage.

Agility:
How fast you are (If your agility doubles your opponent, then you get to attack twice before they attack once)

After each battle you will have the opportunity to raise each stat. For a win, you get 5 points to add to which ever stat you want and 3 stats for a loss. After each battle you must state which stats you want to increase (example: +1 strength, +2 constitution, +1 intelligence and +1 agility). I will then increase them.

More Information:
You will gain a certain amount of EXP per battle which depends on how powerful the creature/member is. Say you’re a level 1 and your fighting a level 2 then you’ll get more exp then you would fighting a level 1 because you have a higher chance of losing.

When your EXP reaches 100 it will be reset to 0 and you will level up.

You also gain credits at the end of battles and you also get them for posting on the forum too. A battle report will be posted by me at the end of every battle.

Battling:
To battle a monster or a member you must first post in the HP battle callout thread.

Monsters vs. Human (Monster vs. You):
To fight a monster to get your stats up you can callout the monster and start the battle at anyplace you wish. So your basically just describing the setting around you and then encountering the monster. The monster will only do normal attacks depending on its level. If you choose the level to be high it might have magic attacks.
In the HP Battle Callout Thread just post:

Example:
Rougee Lindra lvl1
Challenges
Monster lvl 1
Then you can start a thread for the battle.

Human vs. Human (Member vs. You)
Basically the same thing as Monster vs. Human but instead your facing another member. The other person must agree to the battle first and then you can post the battle. You must decide who will describe the setting and then the battle shall begin. When you go to the callout thread post:

Challenges
Shinji lvl 1

I thought something like this may occur, basically the difficulty of monsters will vary, as I put in requirements on BOSS and the big game monsters. The basic level monsters are fairly easy and reasonably fast but lack offensive power, whereas the middle class monsters are more of a mix while upper class monsters are high in both.

As for the BOSS monsters and the big game, they vary depending on type, just consider the fact that in regular ff, on your first encounter with these kinds of monsters, only the lowest monsters could be brought down in a hit, depending on agility.

When you consider that monsters may attack in packs (lower class especially) one hit KOs are nigh impossible and aid will most likely be needed, and also, when the rp starts I'll have a quick read of your bios and station you in different areas of the wilderness. Sort of like the festival of the hunt in ff9. Possibly have Julius and Dark Lusi in the forested area, Me in the plains area... Etc.

why not try the math i used

the System i made for the RP works well, give it a shot. It never has been tested quite yet.

No wai! Mine hasn't been tested yet either.

It also keeps a sense of actual rping and not make it a game.

And on a side note, I am going to be adding level 3 spells to my arsenal of magic and the collection of spellbooks, just so you know. (For Damian Delvo)

EDIT: Could everyone participating in this monster hunting rp post a link to their characters? Just so we know what we all look like, what skills we have etc. My character's link is in the notice.
