I haven't voted but I can't since I'm a partisan to La Primavera.
Pun pun.
I'd like to comment though if that's alright in a completely unbiased way: xD
a.) Illuminati Entry
- I like the layout and the glass spikes effect that the sig uses. I'd say it has a kind of energy going for it because of that. The colors I thought were appropriate and well-suited for the signature itself --- I couldn't see the sig in say, rainbow colors or extremely bright light. But the color scheme has popped up in a couple of the last SOTW entries, so to me it was a bit repetitive.
- I think making the text more imaginative would've helped too.
- There are a couple of lighting choices that take away from the supposed focus of the signature (the dragon head). The dragon head is dimmer compared to the two shapes that are to its left and right as well to its lighting source to the bottom. It's a bit weird since the lighting on the head itself comes from the left yet most light comes from the bottom and the right.
b.) La Primavera Entry
- The text construction is superb. The 'G' just looks great.
- I think the C4D on the left is a bit too opaque. I don't know if it's just me, but my eye focuses more on it than the stock. The placement is great thoguh.
- The color scheme is new. The lighting seems a bit bright to me though.
- I noticed a blur on the bottom wing. Yet I don't see it anywhere else. I think the effect would've worked better if the rest of the wing were blurred (slightly).
Eh. There's my take.
From a neutral point of view, I'd say the second is better.
The first is a bit cluttered too.
Try maybe a downscaled stock or a different stock. The text is a bit lacking. I like the effects and background though.
