Bridget Jones : The Edge of Reason.

Hilarious book, I've been gripped to it all day. Cannot imagine why I hated it and its prequel before I re-read them this week

Northern Lights - Philip Pullman

I have the trilogy but never got round to reading them, but it's been recommended that I read them now. >.< So that's what I'm doing, and so far I'm liking it... well, I'm on page 1 but it's an oh-so gripping page. >_>

The Subtle Knife - Philip Pullman
Started to read this finally and enjoying it so far, liking how it's started with the introduction with Will and hoping that it'll continue the high standard set in the first book.

^ Very good book. I read it a few years back, and I absolutely loved it.

Under the Jolly Roger- L.A. Meyer

A book about this orphan girl who disguises herself as a boy and ends up on a British Warship called the Dolphin. She keeps her identity a secret, calling it the "deception", but when puberty hits she is almost found out. Also, the fact that she has fallen in love with another boy onboard doesn't help matters. It's actually the third book in a 7 book series, and it's a really entertaining read. I still have some more books to go, but so far they're all wonderful.

Trying to read Hamlet right now. I've heard some really good things about it, although my friend tells me it's horrible, so I'll just have to see. It'll probably take me some time to understand it though... it's the first Shakespeare play I've read without the help of notes or a teacher... or a film adaptation. I've also not seen it in theatre either, which usually helps.. ah well.

Currently reading "Across The Nightingale Floor" by Lian Hearn. Its the first part out of three which takes place during the time of the samurai.

I really like it, Lian Hearn really manages to describe everything well, and you can almost see it all as if you were there. Which some authors lack.

After loosing my copy of Totally Frank (Lampards auto-biography) i decided to read Lewis Hamilton's Auto-biography, which after deciding to read i realised that my dad stole it from me like 2 weeks after christmas day (when i was given it by my sister) so i couldn't read that so i decided to read A Child called it (Again) it is possibly the only book i have read cover to cover that wasn't for school it is a great book (although it is about child abuse) it is well written and depicts a horrific story, the only book that has ever brought a tear to my eye

Now reading The Amber Spyglass by Phillip Pullman and about 100 pages through it now. Glad that Iorek is back in the story again and Will is proving to be a pretty cool character as well. The developments in the story have been really good as well and has brought that epic feeling that was missing in The Subtle Knife and should prove to be another awesome read.
