Okay, so her books are for children, but I have been reading them since I was about 9ish and I still love them now! I think her books are really unique and I love her style of writing.
Even though I'm older now, I still think that ones like The Lottie Project, Tracy Beaker, Bad Girls and The Bed and Breakfast Star are brilliant, and some of the 'older' ones like Love Lessons.
Anywho, is anyone else a fan? Or were you when you were younger? xD

I'm not exactly a fan but read one of her books and it's one of my favorites. It is called "Lola Rose". I really sank into that book.
Basically it's about a girl named Jayini who has a brother Kenny and her parents. Her mum has just won 10,000 pounds in a lottery and dad doesn't know. Jayini's problem... Her father is very violent and he always hits their mother and herself. He doesn't hit the little Kenny though.
When home gets really dangerious they all escape.

That book made me cry, seriousely...
I've read that one, only once or twice though because I think I got it from the library.. I really enjoyed it though, I never cried but it was close! I almost cried at Vicky Angel aswell lol (the only books I have actually cried at are My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult and the 7th HP book ). I like the fact that her books are designed for teens because I find them really easy to sink into, and they often have really great plots too.
I'm just about to start reading Kiss... not sure what it's about though...

Love Lessons is really good, if you haven't read that one already. Kinda weird though, about a girl who falls in love with her art teacher o.O
Another favourite is The Diamond Girls. It's been a wee while since I read it but I think it's about this family (Mother and 4 daughters all with different fathers, inevitably) who move to a new house and... I forget the rest xD
