If you were paying attention to the news about 9 months ago, then you know that this legend of comics was killed. there were many theories off of why it happened or what actually happened. And the biggest question the was asked: What will happen to the Captain America legacy? well here is a link to the answer.

I really have respect for this comic book hero, his story and history, and the way it inter twains with Wolverine's and other superheroes. I never head of an end, but it good to hear that there won't be one after all.
The thing about CA is that he is a let's nationalist hero, his name says it all, so he kind of one sided to me, Superman and Spiderman may have the colors of the american flag, but it's not in their name

I just read this and have to voice my opinion that no one will really be able to replace the original Captain America. Try to rename him, to redress him, and revive him, I don't think it will be the same.

I'm not sure this will be a successful series IMO.

We'll see. Though I think you're right, but there are people who just don't care about that stuff and just wanna enjoy the show.

well just to tell you, I think that they are going to brin Steve Rogers back eventually. it's the kind of thing comics do now. plus there was already another character that was CA for a while. now he in US agent. Maybe they might do something similar, or kill this new guy to make way for the hero we already know.

I guess agree with you there. These writers have been doing this for a while and they *should* have interesting stories to back up their resurrections. If the artwork is good, I think the chance of survival increases drastically.

Cap is a great superhero and it was a shame he died. I dont like that shiny new costume that has been made.

Meh, nowadays they always make the costumes futuristic, I mean look at Batman.
When is the first issue coming out anyway?

Captain America #34 comes out on Jan 16, 2008. That is when we find out who the new Cap will be.

The good captain is my favourite super hero of all time. I was watching the avengers movie and a got swelly at the end, since cap'n is dead.

I don't think there should be a New Captain america. I thought the original was comming back anyway, in the chosen. Then i read the stuff about new cap, and im confuesed haha.
