Sex Ed. In schools
Well, as the title says, Sex Ed. in schools. I am up for it. I say this because it saves our parents from doing it and at school, you have friends to sit next to, but at home, it's just one on one, and it would get really awkward

Meh, it's pretty much not needed now. Every kid aged 12 knows how Its done. Although, it's always worth a few laughs at school having to watch a sex ed tape from the 70s.

I don't even remember sex ed at all. I mean I know I had it, but I have no idea when I had it, or anything they talked about. I know for a fact I didn't see a movie, I think I got a pamphlet or something and that was it

Meh it's ok to have it in school, while there are a lot of people that know how to do it properly, there is always someone that doesn't and that's a way he can learn.
Yeah though the laughs are cool too

Pft. I don't remember Sex Ed being a replacement for the bird and bees talk with the parents, but some parents sure act like its a replacement.
Gee, I guess I will never know what a parent feels like talking to their kid about sex until I become one. I mean, just suck it up and say it. Sometimes I feel like my parents are so ignorant like a 9 year old doesn't know what sex is. Sex its everywhere.
Sex Ed I guess is important to some folk considering those unfortunate few whose parents or guardians didn't have enough guts to talk about it. I just wish they'd teach Sex Ed sooner. I believe Germany teaches it much earlier and guess what? They get one of the lowest teen pregnancy rates in the world. Yet parents seem to think not telling their child will do the same thing? Yeah right.
I don't think Sex Ed does that much if taught too late though.

I think I was the only one who didn't really know what sex was until I experienced it first hand.
I missed both sex ed classes, skipped too much school to experience home economics class, and I had my best friend explain to me what semen was when we were 9 years old. I also thought that I got pregnant once from making out with my my-size-barbie.
I'm still not too bright in that category. I don't know what my bf sees in me sexually.
I think it's a good idea. It can't hurt right? MOST kids (not including myself) already know the whole 9 yards before they become teenagers. I had friends who were french kissing in 5th grade! =S
Plus...not all parents are meant to explain these things...

I think sex ed in schools is actually important. I don't mean the whole "this is a penis...and this is a vagina....and when two people really love each other" talk, I mean teaching kids about safe sex. I *hate* that Bush is trying to push abstinence in school. It's the dumbest idea I've ever heard.
Kids are gonna have sex, no matter what you do. At least ensure that it's safe sex. I am totally for sexual education that teaches about contraceptives and safe sex.

I think that pressuring sexual abstinence in school (full of rebellious teenagers) is going to make the matter worse. [=
