thats spooky, gave me the shivers. the only thing that seems logical is to say that there's gotta be some kind of spirit in your house. alot of people don't believe in ghosts, but i donno...this story plus others ive heard lead me to believe otherwise.

The psychological explination is 'sleep paralysis'. It referes to a state where your mind is more alert than it should be in REM sleep but the body is in it's natural 'shut down' mode. It happened to me once and it's fucking nightmarish. Along with the conciousness, there is an inability to move as well as a feeling of a presence and a weight on the chest. It really does happen more often than you would think, and it usually accounts for 99% of alien abduction theories. If it keeps happening though, you really need to see a doctor.

gosh thats so creepy, i really hope it doesn't happen to me anytime soon. just thinking about all this gives me the chills.

It probably wont dood. Only happened to me once. It's the 'presence' thing that is spooky. But its what happens, just like most people who have a heart attack feel 'dread' before it happens. I personaly believe its our body giving us a warning and our brain mis-interpreting it.

levitated? i seriously saw something just like this on the discovery channel. it was some ghost special, and they tried to have a priest come "cleanse" the house or whatever you might call it. idk mitsuki, maybe this is something you should get checked out.

OK, we have left the world of 'rational' and entered the world of 'bullshit', fine by me.

And yes, a doctor can solve this honey, you just need a psychologist as opposed to a medical practitioner.

I cannot repeat this enough: people are programmable. If you keep telling yourself that it's a spirit, you'll basically fall into a false belief. Try having someone else tell you that it's nothing out of the ordinary. What Grim is saying probably doesn't have any impact on you at all, because he's not sitting in a doctor's office, giving you the run down. If he were though, you would be more prompted to believe what he was saying. People are so easily manipulated, and it is possible to erase the "ghost/spirit" belief out of your head. Whether or not you do or don't want to believe in ghosts and spirits, you'd be better off getting a better night's sleep, don't you think?

I experienced this....three days ago. Even now I still have doubts if whether or not should I get to sleep. It's the worst thing I've ever felt. Paralyzed by horror, my eyes widened as I tried in vain to move, for five minutes. I remember every single detail of that dream, even to this day. I don't believe in ghosts, but I do believe in evil. Because...

If God and Good exists...then an opposite force must exist as well...

I don't believe in ghosts no matter what I saw or heard, it makes no sense..it's not logical.

Scary films trigger it for my mate & sleeping without being covered up for my ex, it's actually really frightening to witness. I'd have to have loads of fans in my room during the Summer so he didn't spaz out in his sleep. He quite often 'woke up' and talked to things on top of my wardrobe and stuff. I had to try to wake him up then hide under my cover lol

Wow O_O.. that's pretty freaky >.<

I don't know if this is the same thing.. but, I sometimes get when I am asleep, and then I wake up yet can't move. It's really weird, because my eyes are open, and I can hear everything around me, yet I am unable to lift my arms or move any part of me at all. It's so scary, and can sometimes last for about 10 minutes x_x
