Welcome everybody, to the latest VBD. As you can see in the meme, I'm being a procrastinating fuck, again. I am just too lazy, but I'm too lazy to do anything about it. :/ Anyway, I gots a few things to talk about, let us get to it, shall we? Not only are we gonna do it the right way, we're gonna do it, the Brad Maddox way. Beef Mode.

Okay, so, I should be going to get glasses later today, after my original glasses broke in May of last year, we duct taped it back together and I've been wearing those ever since then. It's hella annoying. Of course this means there's a slight chance I'll miss RAW tonight, after such a good PPV, no less. >_>

On to the PPV, it was one of the better PPVs of the past year. (June to June) There's really not much to complain about, besides one little thing......

Why the fuck did Ziggler have to lose the World Heavyweight Championship to ADR? This fucking ADR is boring. Ziggler didn't even get to enjoy a real reign as champion because he got a concussion a few weeks after he won the damn belt, and was out of action until this past Friday night. I call bullshit on this. The absolute only good thing to come out of this is what looked like a double turn. Meaning Ziggler went from being a bad guy to a good guy, and ADR went from being a good guy to a bad guy. Fuck you, WWE Creative.

However another story that is making me quite emotional is the potential retirement of Mark Henry on RAW tonight. This guy has been around since 1996, and I've watched him wrestle for all of my life. He's really been great in recent years as an unstoppable monster, but even before then, it was cool to watch the happy Mark Henry just go out there and have fun. Of course there's always the chance that this is a storyline to help set up something greater. But with all the injuries he's had, it wouldn't surprise me if tonight was indeed his final night.

Regardless of what happens tonight, I'm always gonna be a huge Mark Henry fan. Thank you, Mark, for all of the memories you've given me during your in ring career. Tonight might be the end of you being in the ring, but I know for sure, this won't be the last time we see Mark Henry. :)

Happy Father's Day to all of the fathers here on the forum, as well as around the world. I'm sure there will be a guest that sees this and is a father. :)

Of course, I wished my daddy a happy fathers day on Facebook, because y'know, that's such a personal and special place to do it. >_> I sent him that, and he didn't even fucking like it. He's sending me requests in CCS (Candy Crush Saga, for all of you people that aren't down with the times). I am not happy about that. :mokken:

Hopefully he has a fun day today. Not only is it one of his two special days, tonight is also the WWE Payback PPV! Featuring a fuck load of awesome matches! Including CM Punk vs Chris Jericho, which is almost guaranteed to be a 5 star classic match. I cannot wait. Everything should be great tonight except for.... *cough*Curtis Axel*cough*. Such a shame. His father was the great Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig. Mr. Perfect is one of my favorite wrestlers ever, I could watch him wrestle all day, and never get bored. But his son? Jesus. What a boring fucker he is.

Other good matches should be Kane vs Dean Ambrose, and The Shield vs Team RK-NO!

Daniel Bryan is fucking awesome. He is the best thing on WWE TV, and has been for quite a while now. Hopefully Randy Orton doesn't drown him out in boredom tonight. >_>

Let's see... Uh... That's it. Happy Father's Day to the fathers and all that. :)

Candy Crush Saga & Dean Ambrose

Hello all! Welcome to my newest blog entry! Let's get straight into it, shall we? (WARNING: This will be a Dean Ambrose heavy blog entry)

After last nights horrible trip down Tumblr lane, I decided to embrace my inner fanboy, and join along for the ride. I must say it was well worth it. There was a fuck load of awesome gifs and memes, which is super hella dope. I am starting to like Dean Ambrose unfortunately. I didn't want to like him, but there's just something about his character.... He's basically everything I wish I could be. That insane, I don't give a fuck what anybody thinks of me attitude he has is awesome. I still think Seth Rollins is better though. >_> I hate you, Dean.

Also, I am going to talk about Candy Crush Saga. The very first time I saw the game I was....

But I downloaded it last night and I am now addicted to it. For some reason, it's giving me a nostalgic feeling. To me, it feels like I'm playing one of the old computer games that my parents got me on a disc when I was like, 3. I also have a slight obsession with wanting to destroy everybody on my friends list on FB. In order to do that though, I must channel my inner Dean Ambrose. Insane Mode: ON.

Let's see.... WWE Payback plus Father's Day on Sunday equals one big epic win of destruction! Like.... Yeah. Can't wait. I am looking forward to a lot of it. Except Curtis Axel. Good grief, he bores me to death. I'd rather watch paint dry. >_>

Hola everybody that happens to read this. I am JeriKane, Anthony, etc.

I'm just gonna rant, so bear with me for this thing. Who's ready for some late night Jeri ranting? Let us move on.

1. The fucking water in my bathroom sink never gets hot. Even though I have the damn thing on the red side. It's always freezing cold. The rare times it does get hot, is when I'm brushing my teeth and then I burn my mouth with hot water. >_>

2. Stella kinda looks like Namine (how do people get that little thingy over the "e"? I can't figure it out), which is pretty cool. I was looking at old pics of her from the last few trailers or whatever, and the only thing that looks different to me is the hair. But then again, I should wait until I see more of her in the actual game before I go all "ZOMGZORZ". Y'know?

3. I am still stuck on what to write for Birthweek. My idea for a funny story is just not happening. Maybe it's my topic of weed that's holding me back. Me and dad are going grocery shopping tomorrow, so maybe that'll provide some inspiration for me. Maybe....

4. I got a new phone yesterday, which I payed for my damn self. My wallpaper is hella dope, it's a fucking black hole! It even moves and all that! It's insane. Plus, this phone is apparently one of the fastest on the market as far as apps go and whatnot. So far it's been fantastic I must say. Hopefully it'll stay this way.

5. I've been trying my best to do Dean Ambrose impression, but I'm just not fit for the role. I can do his voice and all that, but I cannot do his facial expressions.

6. My story took the day off today. I just wasn't feeling the love. So I said fuck it. I'll get back to it soon enough.

7. CM Punk vs Chris Jericho at Payback this Sunday is gonna be a fucking classic. These two never disappoint when they're in the ring. But together, they're gonna tear the roof off of the Allstate Arena in Chicago. I cannot wait to watch this on PPV. :D

8. I'm still procrastinating. I've been given a dilemma though, mom says that if I don't clean my room by 10:00AM on Saturday, that we won't go to the movies to see Monsters University. So I'll probably end up cleaning it tomorrow. This includes doing a few loads of laundry to clean some old bed sheets.

9. I can't wait to watch the matches on CM Punk's DVD. Tomorrow I'm getting a fucking table to put all of my TV, Xbox, PS2 and such on. So that they're not on the ground anymore. I haven't watched a WWE DVD for almost 3 months and it's killing me. But, I did this for the better good. I didn't want to potentially damage them on the floor. (Plus, I can't find the DVD player remote. Fuck me, right?)

10. I'm gonna bother my Mom until she says okay to me getting tickets to the next NXT tapings at Full Sail. There's gonna be an autograph signing with Big E, AJ, and your World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler. So that's most def something I don't want to miss. I'm a big fan of all 3 of them, so this would be a pretty sweet day if it happens. :)

Well, there you go. 10 random thoughts. Sure, it was WWE heavy, but this is my fucking blog. I can do what I want with it. :mokken: I talked about FF (Stella). I mean, what more do you people want from me? I'm sorry for not being a Final Fantasy fanboy. What's been a part of my life since my birth? WWE. Not Final Ambrosey.(calm down.)

Bonus Thought #11 . Too many fangirls on Tumblr. There was soooo much fucking crushing on Dean Ambrose that I almost ran away in fear. :wacky:

Well.... I am here to discuss what I've been up to over the past few weeks. I had an idea for a story in my head for quite some time, but I kept procrastinating and never went through with writing it out (or in this case, typing it out.). All of this changed however, when Birthweek came along. And to be more specific, when the writing competition was announced. I wrote a huge chunk of the story for the contest, but then Adam crushed all of my hopes and dreams by telling me the limit was 500 words (I am too lazy to read the instructions on anything.). So.... What I decided to do was finish writing the story (making a few extra chapters) and I may or may not post it here.

It's a fan fiction (About as fanboy as you can get.), and it spans over the course of 2 months. It will have you rooting for the underdog, and hating on the guy that thinks he rules the world. It will have high amounts of action, and even more drama. This will be me putting my creative writing to the test. Which I hope ends up being worth it in the end.

The title will be: JeriKane's Dream

So there. I still have to write a story up for Birthweek, though. I had an idea for a story about weed, but I just can't get it right, like I am with this story. JD is more about drama and hope, while the weed story is (well, I want it to be) funny. Meh... I'll think of something. If all else fails, there's always the super easy "Team Hell No" story I can write about. But I kinda want to avoid those two. Just this time.

Lives..... Are gonna be in JeriKane's hands. (No seriously, I actually had to give my Dad money earlier today to get us out of a serious situation. Fucker owes me 3 dollars and an ice cream cone. :mokken: )

I can't be arsed to read my own work and make sure it's all pretty and stuff. So I am done here. :jeri:

Buenos Dias, Senors and Senoras, and welcome to the May edition of the Roleplayer. This is Noblesse Oblige. Now why did I speak in Spanish, probably has something to do with Cinco de Mayo, the historic holiday that nobody outside of Mexico and France knows why they celebrate it�but I digress.

It�s time to check out the current lineup for RP�s going on this month:

Original RP�s (ORP�s):
-Strana Fantasia Reale: The Age of Reconquista (by Noblesse Oblige): Link to RP
The Age of Reconquista is the most recent hit of my titular ORP series, Strana Fantasia Reale. The storyline seemingly starts off as your usual religious battles (ala the Crusades) but starts to take a turn for the extraordinary when a supernatural force dating over a thousand years ago starts to appear and run amok over the region of Hipsania. Now it is up to the various heroes from all across Hipsania and its neighbors to stop these forces from destroying everything.

While one problem has been solved, another has taken a turn for the worse, as Luciana, Rodrigo and Ryo (the first two played by Noblesse Oblige, the third by Rorolina Frixell/Damon) manage to eliminate the first wave of the mysterious soldiers, but there is another wave waiting in the wings, and with Rodrigo being sluggish as it is, can he survive the onslaught, can anyone? And Will Joachim (also played by Noblesse Oblige) and his party arrive in time to end the war before the Dark Ones can manipulate it any further?

The year is 2153. The world has come under the domain of the Megacorporation known as the Supersonic Company of Technological Advancements (also known as the Sato Company), led by the (in)famous Sato family. The players are forcibly registered into this year�s Super Sonic racing Tournament, but it has been done in order to eliminate the leaders of the Company, Olivia and Dalton Sato, before their as of yet unknown scheme is fulfilled.

The First Race has begun, and tensions are high all over. Olivia Sato (NPC played by Exoskeleton) has dispatched the majority of those who skipped out the mandatory injection. So what does this have to say of our heroes, Weisly Croft (played by Exoskeleton) and Helvetica Standard (played by Tipsynaruto)? Well with those two racing in the cool Sydney breeze, plus many other racers, it looks to be quite an exciting race.

Unoriginal RPs (URPs)
-Kingdom Hearts: The Unsung War Trilogy Part 2: Into the Dusk (by Noblesse Oblige): Link to RP
The Unsung War Trilogy (created in 2009) is the longest active RP to date on Final Fantasy Forums, with over 750 posts made to date (as of this writing on March 29). The Unsung War Trilogy tells the story of a young Keyblade Wielder named Raven Otsdarva (played by Noblesse Oblige). After his father disappeared, during a prior battle, Raven is thrust into a war that threatens the stability of two realms. Now he and his friends muse try to save the worlds from a hidden and evil threat born of hatred. Originally created as a cross between the universe of the Kingdom Hearts Universe with the story of Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War (with elements of Star Wars thrown in to the mix), The Unsung War Trilogy is a rich and engaging tale of action, tragedy and love.

Operation Wisdom is a go, and Luna Thermidor (played by Noblesse Oblige) has launched from the Normandy to carry out her operation. Elie Mizer (played by Baseret) continues to take potshots at the Normandy to little effect, but she might unknowingly get her wish from what she perceives to be a Heartless Invasion force. Meanwhile Elaine Chevalier(played by Noblesse Oblige) made herself fast friends with Lachesis Athene (played by Rorolina Frixell) and Tsuki (played by Rorolina Frixell) has reawakened after a 4 day coma, and is being caught up by Raven Otsdarva. How successful will this operation will be, and will Elie see that the crew of the Normandy is not out to invade?

-Final Fantasy IX: Scars of Terra (by Noblesse Oblige): Link to RP
Final Fantasy IX was one of the great RP hits of the 2011 RP season, and despite it ending abruptly in May 2012, the RP has returned with new members. Set seventeen years after the events of the fame, we follow the story of Annelise �Anne� Steiner (played by Kevin/Noblesse Oblige), the 16-year old daughter of General Beatrix and General (formerly Captain) Adalbert Steiner as she embarks on a quest to save Gaia from the ambitions of the Emperor of Oeilvert, Cyril Gesalios.

Love is in the air�sort of, as Anne Steiner has gained advice from fellow members of the Blue Winged Knights of Alexandria on courting the love of Pluto Knight Ricard Fiarne (played by Rorolina Frixell), but so far it seems to be going downhill faster than a wheel. Meanwhile, Vanessa Palaiologos (played by Rorolina Frixell) is in a bad mood due to all the crazyness caused by her �sister� Atalanta (played by Noblesse Oblige). At least, so far she seems to reciprocate to the idea of the Festival of the Hunt. Finally, Cyril Gesalios, the Emperor of Oeilvert has arrived at the fully conquered city of Cleyra, bringing with him, the Bishop, Rose Talbothis and his leading Imperial Marshal Ddraea de Gaul (played by LeonaFirewater). The mission is still unclear, but whatever it is, it cannot be good for the nations of the Mist Continent.

-Mobile Suit Gundam Λ (by Noblesse Oblige): Link to RP
Gundam Λ (Λ being the Greek Letter Lamda) is another example of mixing elements of one franchise and mixing it with the story of another, in this case the Gundam Franchise in general with the story of one of From Software�s hits, Armored Core 2. The year is Earth Year 223 (AD 2442). As the Earth is being reclaimed from years of brutal war that nearly wiped out the planet, a corporate entity, Zio Matrix, attains plans for a research project on Mars, leading to the Terraforming project. The other corporations learn of the project, and follow Zio to Mars, bringing with them the conflict that made Earth dangerous. As a Raven of the PMC, Nerves Concord�well you don�t care about any of that, it�s always about the money.

With the new pilots now acquainted with Nerves Concord and its facilities, there are new missions available to the pilots, one involves destroying renegade autonomous mobile pods running amok at a Mobile Suit Factory, while another mission involves an assassination against an informer selling LCC secrets to the Emurade Corporation. Who is going to take those missions? Who�s going to fight in the Arena?

�The World,� a brand new Virtual Reality MMORPG by CC Corporation, has attracted a large following of players, as they search for and defeat Skieth, but upon defeating Skieth, things may not be as fun in �The World� as it seems. It is up to the players to uncover CC�s deceitful practices and save the other players from being trapped in the game.

The heroes have all been transported to a Large Dungeon to take on Skelth, the Area Boss. But something is amiss, why did CC Corporation send everyone there, despite the fact that not all were declared ready for this. This is the question Kuro (played by Yu Narukami) must come to answer. But can the heroes successfully defeat a God?

- Lost Creation: A Final Fantasy Tragedy of Gods (by LeonaFirewater): Link to SU/D
It has been 5000 years since the Great War of Souls, Kaos has been banished since, and Aither has kept their promise, light and life continue in the universe. The early days of Utopia have ended, and although a grimmer reality has taken its place, life on Onuava is far from the days of darkness and suffering when Khaos existed. And yet, those intune with the power of the Universe, both god and mortal, feel a disturbance, as though a background white noise has turned into a terrible buzzing that can no longer be ignored. Those that hear it, fear a catastrophe. Will the cause of this disturbance be found and corrected before the world is thrown out of balance, or will all of creation be lost?

The End of the Race Wars brought about the acceptance of the brutish Orcs and Goblins into the society of Humanity and Dwarves in the Continent of Taera, in the world of Gaius. Trade between the various cultures and races has helped to foster peace and prosperity. But when cataclysmic events threaten trade, it is up to the heroes to determine exactly what is going on, and if the prophecy of an epic cataclysm is coming true. This story is loosely based off of the Dungeons & Dragons franchise, with magic, and medieval combat being the norm in this universe.

The Roleplayer: May 2013 (Part 2: Interview)

Finally, our RP Spotlight takes us to one of our popular RP�ers, LJ Lippolis, known around the forums as Soulcorruptor. I�ve gotten a chance to talk to LJ about his experiences Roleplaying:

Noblesse Oblige: So, tell me about yourself and how you have gotten interested in Roleplaying??

LJ Lippolis: Well started back on a old site I was apart of called Square Ultima. Since I was beginning to get into creative writing I thought I would give it a try. In fact the one RP I try to run, Tale of The Forgotten is largely based off of it, I forget the name of it to be honest. After that I tried my own at the site called Prelude to FF which brought all the FF dimensions together, with Sorceress Ultemica as the bad again but trying to merge all the dimensions together. It actually did quite well on that site for a while but due to drama, it died out as well as the site becoming less active.

NO: That's actually a very interesting origin into RP'ing you have there. So, tell me about Tale of the Forgotten, I remember it being one of the FFF's classic ORPG's.

LJ: Well the premise of it is based on a balance of the world kept by 8 gems that a race called the Kailal made, which are an ancient race of beings. Each gem controlled it's own element. Light, Dark, Air, Lightning, Earth, Fire, Water and Ice. Each gem also bestowed mastery to control said element as well. However the Kailal were cursed for making these gems, since they created them to act as a balance they were cursed with an immortality of sorts to oversee the balance. Now with all the Kailal whiped out but one which is my char, a being who calls himself the "Dark One" is trying to find these gems and bring a sense of ordered chaos to the world.

NO: So it's a battle of Order vs. Chaos.

LJ: Not as much as it is the lone survivor trying to make sure the gems don't fall into the wrong hands.

NO: Ah, well the premise is pretty interesting, and I hope on day there would be enough interest to bring this RP back.

LJ: May try again but previous attempts make it seem like it won't work. As a medieval setting seems to have lost interest

NO: Any RP's currently active you would like to see come to its conclusion?

LJ: I would have to say the one that I am enrolled in, Epitaph.

NO: Well, it certainly seems to be fun! So, any advice you would want to give to new RPers?

LJ: I would say to try and have fun, and remember to respect the other rpers as well

Wayne has recently developed a seventh cataloguing system for all his non-vaguely-bisexual music (he has no vaguely bisexual music so doesn't need to catalogue that). It has been scientifically proven that Wayne does, in fact, have a three and a seventh eighths octave range.

So with the dawn of the next generation, the possible contenders are Xbox One, PS4, and WII U. I just feel like I should rant about the Xbox One reveal that took place today.

/takes one look and never goes back.

Xbox One: I was expecting games and what did we get? We got an entertainment box. They showed sports, Television, smartglass, New CoD with a dog(NEW), and the only thing I can think of that was cool was the Halo Live action TV series premiere.

The whole presentation was a pile of crap, IMO. Honestly... why did I watch this? Was there any point? I lost a few minutes of my life watching this.

It gets worse. Xbox One will force us to pay more for used games! This is a disaster! Who the hell thought it was a good idea to make us pay more for bringing a game to a friend's house, on vacation, or whatever. MICROSOFT.... Micro$oft....

The console name is just stupid. No, it is more than stupid! It is a disaster. I dont know why they did not call it Xbox 3... or xbox 2... but 1? ONE? Yeah I thought there already was a first Xbox? Oh wait so you guys are clever... you want it to be the RULER OF ONE(with an Iron fist)

The real disappointment comes in when they dedicate half of their show to sports. I mean.. did I tune in to see Sports? NO! I tuned in to watch gameplay/trailers of new games.

Forza 5: Nice graphics.

Quantum Break: That looked a bit too much like Beyond two souls

CoD: Ghosts: Wait.. this is new? It looks like the same shite I have been seeing for ages now! You are telling me that a dog teammate is new? New names for just re scrapped and old guns? Fish? Dirt on fingernails?

My excitement meter= 0%

Yes... I did think the new XboX would be appealing at first. It appears I was dead wrong.. because now I have to buy everything new.

Am I supposed to be interested because 8 brand new IPs are being developed? How many of those are shooters?

I ask this because I am getting bored of FPS, and I am pretty sure my faith is with Bungie. At least Destiny(their new game) looks like a fantastic FPS.

Halo? Ahhhh 4 was quite disappointing in terms of the multiplayer. I lost interest quite fast and I am not sure if I will be there to care about Halo 5.

PS4

Okay... after the disappointing Xbox One Reveal, I think I am going to go with PS4.

PS4 looks like the better answer. It is early but at e3 I shall make my final judgement. Will Xbox One continue to disappoint? Or will it finally manage to impress?

I recently read about Sony already registering domains for The last of us 2 and 3. That is one reason I would go with Sony. The 2nd reason I would go with Sony is that Sony are not going to make us pay for used games, they wont restrict us to playing on one console, and most of all, they will not support shitty views. (At least I hope not)

So right now there is already the possibility of TLOU becoming a franchise, maybe an Uncharted 4, and some other potential titles. I am also very happy that Bungie are bringing Destiny to PS4. Destiny as an exclusive on Xbox One would have made me terribly angry.

We can clearly see that Nintendo have some huge titles that will be brought out.

In order I think of it like this: 1)PS4/Wii U 2) Xbox One. Of course... this is my opinion and it is based on how much interest I have at the moment.

Microsoft... if you wanted to rule with an iron fist, you are doing a pretty shitty job at it. Do they realize that they will lose lots of people over this? Nobody is going to pay 60 bucks just to use their game on another console. Fucking ridiculous. Do they also realize that they just cursed an entire new generation with the name Xbox one?

Microsoft, I am disgusted and shocked at your reveal that I think I will convert myself to Sony. I will without a doubt be buying the PS4 first. Does the Xbox One even have room to improve?

At least with PS4 I will be able to buy used games at a good price and not be forced to pay double! Microsoft clearly only thought of the people who live in their basement. I mean.. is that not why it is called Xbox One?

SD Gundam Online Update | The Massive Overhaul that is G Generation

If you guys haven't been following this game now you should.

This Latest update G Generation Remolds the game to a true Online Gundam Game.

What do I mean by this? The following changes will take place.

-The Rock Paper Scissor System that has plagued the game making suit choice limited to who's using what in the room is gone, All suits will be changed to Close Range/Mid Range/Long Range, this removes the 25% damage boosts/reductions when fighting against your type.

-Boost Poll is regulated, This means all units will more or less have the exact the same Boost Pool outside of Custom Parts, this was a problem in the past because Papers had crappy boost and Rocks had the best boost pool, they're all balanced now.

-Overcustom System is Removed, Overcustom was the Leveling system SDGO used, players had to level their units to Rookie/Veteran/Ace for their skills, you no longer have to do this, after those 3 levels you gained access to Custom/Overcustom, these added points to 6 different attributes but players failed quite often due to the games shitty failure rates at Overcustom 4+ (getting OC EX which gave you a extra skill was near impossible with the fail rate of 85%) and if you failed your OC is reset back to OC1.

This system has been overhauled and removed being replaced by the games new "Custom Parts" System, each level gives you new parts and unique skills for boost/damage/defense/hp/etc.

-User Interface Overhaul, Everything in the games menus/in game hud/etc. will be changed over to the more professional look, menus and screens are black and more Gundamesk to make players feel more comfortable. The Quest Log has been updated to show more rewards.

-Laboratory System, This is unconfirmed but suspected to be added in, this system allows you to make any suit in the game be it SS to C Ranks, however this takes time to do to make a SS Rank it takes roughly 3 real life months, this can be reduced by buying time reducers but this will save your points for other units as well.

-Library System, Think of this like a Pokedex it tells you what Gundams/Non-Gundams you have, I believe you get rewarded for catching them all.

-Quest Reset, Most veterans like myself have cleared all the quests in our listing (these quests give out free suits and alot of points) Veterans of the game get a 2nd chance at rare quest unique suits and valuable points.

Overall This Update is the Update that puts North America's SDGO over most others, Why? Because this update just came out in Korea's server and not a month later We're getting this update that will catch us up to KR.

Eurovision Travesty

So we had another one last night. The housemates and I have gone through two bottles (between us, not two bottles each, thankfully) and one of us volunteered to stream the event live. As we don't have a TV licence, that's not allowed, but we bypassed that with a slight little loophole that is technically allowed. As long as we didn't plug in the two laptops we used to stream the event, we were technically obeying the law. Not that it mattered. It's not like there are vans outside that could detect a group of students in their house breaking the TV licence law.

What event was this? Nothing much. It was only the Eurovision. An event that the UK regularly performs poorly in, even though the BBC pumps in enough to secure the UK a free pass to the finals, along with France, Spain, Germany and Italy, while everyone else does it fairly and go through semi-finals like normal people. Hah! Bribery works, people! Okay, well, technically it isn't bribery, but the unfortunate implications are there.

So if we pump so much taxpayers' money into the Eurovision, why are we so half-arsed with our choices of acts? Sure, Bonnie Tyler had her halcyon days, but that was about thirty years ago, and her unremarkable song (with a croaky start to the performance last night, going out of tune a few times. Ouch.) landed her 19th place out of...what, 26 countries? At least it's better than last year's Engelbert Humperdinck, a man who was probably in his prime 40 years ago, and who came second to last, but why is the UK developing this reputation of bringing out either dull nobodies or has-beens that are clearly not in their prime anymore?

Is the BBC just allergic to choosing an act that is at least as ridiculously FUN as some other countries? The Eurovision obviously isn't renowned for musical integrity, so the least we can do is make it as ridiculous as we can. Bring out someone entertaining at least! It wouldn't be embarrassing, because you surely felt embarrassed when the last few UK entrants came on.

Why Denmark? Why did they win? There was nothing remarkable about that song. Is it because it's a really "safe" and generic kind of song that can appeal to pretty much the whole continent? I remember it has a flute, but that's it. Why couldn't Greece or Romania win?

Here you go, Britain! Here's something ridiculous and fun! It's very memorable at least, even if musically it is shite (but why would you really care when you're drinking while watching it?). In an ideal contest where voting hasn't been rigged, this would be a serious contender for first place, not that samey, sugary Danish one.

This is...brilliant. Pop, opera, dubstep. Rolled into one. This has everything. How on earth could an act featuring a homoerotic, high-pitched Count Dracula not win? It's brilliant because it is bonkers. It is brilliant because it has imagination. Seriously, look at what else is going on in the stage around him.

There weren't enough fun, bonkers performances this year and they make up the entertaining hell that Eurovision is for me. Good on Greece and Romania for actually DELIVERING.

Brazil - the good and the bad.

As of next week I am finally going to Brazil. Safe to say I'm scared more-so than I am excited. Why Shu? You are a man with no fear.

Well I guess it's because I realized how crazy it's been and how much I've distanced myself from everyone around me.

I have literally kept everyone on the outside due to working late, working weekends and hesitant to go out with my normal buds. My literal focus is.. work, home, straight to gaming to keep my mind numb, then maybe bed. I talk to my mrs. maybe.. eh an hour or two hours a day at most.. even then it's like one ear and out the other. Work is work.. I turn it off when I get home. She hears some swearing come out of me sometimes, but it almost is like turrets to her.. due to it comes from no where.

I am reluctant to still have a good few friends to keep me sane, but I've been pushing quite hard these past years and it all comes to this.

So I'm hoping for the best here, but I am trying to be real to myself. 2 weeks.. as an alien :).

Apologies if it sounds like I'm whining. Just being real yo!

Survive (Special Edition Blog)

Hello all, I am back here in the blogging area with a very special blog tonight. I am gonna talk about a few things, with the main one being Survivor 2013. But first let's see what else I can talk about... :hmmm:

I've started GFXing and I must say it's been very fun. I have made a few Avatars and Signatures already. You can check those out in my thread in the graphics area. Hopefully I'm actually improving, because I feel like I'm improving. We'll see what happens as time goes on.

Survivor 2013 starts on the 15th (16th for some). Which should be one hell of a ride. I somehow got lucky and ended up on a team where I'm actually friends with everybody. Which should make the early portion of Survivor go much smoother than if I was with people I don't get along with.

I will be on Team B as the Martian Manhunter. I've seen him in video games before, but that's about it. I'll be honest here, I wanted to be Batman, but you know, it's cool man. ;)

Ehh.... Kind of a short blog. I cannot think of anything else to fill it up with. I guess in closing I'll say good luck to the other participants, whether we are on the same team or not. I want this Survivor to be the closest ever. By that I mean, I want to see everybody bring it. Whoever wins this year will definitely have to earn it. This is already the most star studded Survivor of all time, let's also make it the most competitive.

Hey everybody, this is Noblesse Oblige, and welcome to this month�s installment of the Roleplayer. This month�s issue was delayed and the �Featured� section will not be included. I apologize for this delay, due to the fact that I had finals this week.
Today we will be discussing both old and new RP�s to go around. There�s much fun to be had in the world of RP�s, both Original and Unoriginal. Let�s check the currently ongoing and new RP�s.

Original RPs (ORPs)
-Strana Fantasia Reale: The Age of Reconquista (by Kevin/Noblesse Oblige): Link to RP
The Age of Reconquista is the most recent hit of my titular ORP series, Strana Fantasia Reale. The storyline seemingly starts off as your usual religious battles (ala the Crusades) but starts to take a turn for the extraordinary when a supernatural force dating over a thousand years ago starts to appear and run amok over the region of Hipsania. Now it is up to the various heroes from all across Hipsania and its neighbors to stop these forces from destroying everything.

While one problem has been solved, another has taken a turn for the worse, as Luciana, Rodrigo and Ryo (the first two played by Noblesse Oblige, the third by Rorolina Frixell/Damon) manage to eliminate the first wave of the mysterious soldiers, but there is another wave waiting in the wings, and with Rodrigo being sluggish as it is, can he survive the onslaught, can anyone? And Will Joachim (also played by Noblesse Oblige) and his party arrive in time to end the war before the Dark Ones can manipulate it any further?

The year is 2153. The world has come under the domain of the Megacorporation known as the Supersonic Company of Technological Advancements (also known as the Sato Company), led by the (in)famous Sato family. The players are forcibly registered into this year�s Super Sonic racing Tournament, but it has been done in order to eliminate the leaders of the Company, Olivia and Dalton Sato, before their as of yet unknown scheme is fulfilled.

The mysterious individual, Atlus, has called upon multiple individuals to take part in the assassination attempt. So it wouldn�t come as much of a surprise, not just for the mission, but to prevent exposure of their race, that they do not wish to have a tracking device implanted in them. So Weisly Croft (played by Exoskeleton) and Helvetica Standard (played by Tipsynaruto) plot to escape, but can they succeed in this attempt? There is also the matter of Levont Kaiser (played by Baseret), despite successfully warning Weisly and Helvetica, he still has to escape from being injected by whatever it is they are injecting into them, and will he find an alternative exit using the gang violence as cover?

-Kingdom Hearts: The Unsung War Trilogy Part 2: Into the Dusk (by Kevin/Noblesse Oblige): Link to RP
The Unsung War Trilogy (created in 2009) is the longest active RP to date on Final Fantasy Forums, with over 750 posts made to date. The Unsung War Trilogy tells the story of a young Keyblade Wielder named Raven Otsdarva (played by Noblesse Oblige). After his father disappeared, during a prior battle, Raven is thrust into a war that threatens the stability of two realms. Now he and his friends muse try to save the worlds from a hidden and evil threat born of hatred. Originally created as a cross between the universe of the Kingdom Hearts Universe with the story of Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War (with elements of Star Wars thrown in to the mix), The Unsung War Trilogy is a rich and engaging tale of action, tragedy and love.

The party has been briefed, the situation is set, and the mission is about to begin, but with Raven (played by Noblesse Oblige) feeling a little down about what little he could remember of the events he did back at Destiny Islands, as well as the mysterious figure at the Station of Awakening within his heart, as well as Chao (played by Tipsynaruto) feeling down about Phoenix�s continued encroachments in her mind, it leaves Luna (also played by Noblesse Oblige) at a loss of what she would have to do. Meanwhile Eile Mizer (played by Baseret) continues hunting Heartless, unfortunately, she believes that the Normandy is a ship containing Heartless Reinforcements, and is already making plans to infiltrate the ship, but will she succeed?

-Final Fantasy IX: Scars of Terra (by Kevin/Noblesse Oblige): Link to RP
Final Fantasy IX was one of the great RP hits of the 2011 RP season, and despite it ending abruptly in May 2012, the RP has returned with new members. Set seventeen years after the events of the fame, we follow the story of Annelise �Anne� Steiner (played by Kevin/Noblesse Oblige), the 16-year old daughter of General Beatrix and General (formerly Captain) Adalbert Steiner as she embarks on a quest to save Gaia from the ambitions of the Emperor of Oeilvert, Cyril Gesalios.

Anne has received orders that she will be heading out to help defend the urban centers of the Mist Continent from the Oeilvertian Empire, while Atalanta Palaiologos (played by Noblesse Oblige) decides to go on to Lindblum to participate in the Festival of the Hunt. While all of this is going on, Oeilvert has nearly taken Cleyra, and is on the way to threaten neighboring Burmecia. Can the powers that be, be able to stop the Oeilvertian menace?

-Mobile Suit Gundam Λ (by Kevin/Noblesse Oblige): Link to RP
Gundam Λ (Λ being the Greek Letter Lamda) is another example of mixing elements of one franchise and mixing it with the story of another, in this case the Gundam Franchise in general with the story of one of From Software�s hits, Armored Core 2. The year is Earth Year 223 (AD 2442). As the Earth is being reclaimed from years of brutal war that nearly wiped out the planet, a corporate entity, Zio Matrix, attains plans for a research project on Mars, leading to the Terraforming project. The other corporations learn of the project, and follow Zio to Mars, bringing with them the conflict that made Earth dangerous. As a Raven of the PMC, Nerves Concord�well you don�t care about any of that, it�s always about the money.

With the new pilots now acquainted with Nerves Concord and its facilities, there are new missions available to the pilots, one involves destroying renegade autonomous mobile pods running amok at a Mobile Suit Factory, while another mission involves an assassination against an informer selling LCC secrets to the Emurade Corporation. Who is going to take those missions? Who�s going to fight in the Arena?

�The World,� a brand new Virtual Reality MMORPG by CC Corporation, has attracted a large following of players, as they search for and defeat Skieth, but upon defeating Skieth, things may not be as fun in �The World� as it seems. It is up to the players to uncover CC�s deceitful practices and save the other players from being trapped in the game.

Currently in the RP, we have two active parties going on. The party of Kuro (played by Yu Narukami), Gozen Matabei (Tipsynaruto), Eile Mura (Baseret), Nanicci (Exoskeleton) and Anzu (Noblesse Oblige) are engaged in fighting giant crabs in preparation for their encounter with Skieth, while the party of Lex, Cecily, Rieko & Coco (the former two played by Soulcorruptor, the latter two by Kyreaan) are now looking to assist fellow friend Rei (played by Chanteru) in seeking out the Ancient Prophecy Stone. Will they succeed? Tune in to find out!

For one week only, we start with community updates, because there been a rather big forum update this week.

If you haven't noticed, when you open the site now, you are greeted with a new homepage, meet CMS (Or Content Management System), CMS is in simple terms a front page for the site. Overtime, this will be filled with things such as news articles, editorials, interesting site updates and much more. At this present moment only the staff are updating the front page, but the admins will be opening applications for editors and writers some time next week, so be sure to lookout for that!
