Side Jobs during School
Any of you had a job while you were at school?
Me? Currently I have none, but I'm hoping to get one soon, to actually finance my 'future' car and such.
Probably work for a fast-food restaurant or something, or some ice cream parlor.
It's great for getting stuff. Plus the job experience gets you somewhere.

Yes, back in High School as soon as I was old enough to work, I worked in the Mall at a JC Penny stocking inventory, then about a year and half later, I got a job doing computer repair.
I wound up liking computers so much, that I forced myself through college (again, I hate school) and made a career out of it.

Yes, my senior year of High school I got a job. During my senior year I did not have very much homework and lots of free time. My dad forced me to get a job, because he did not want me to stay home and do nothing. I worked at a super market as a cashier. Yes, it was hell, especially when you get old people bitching about using a expired coupon that takes 50 cents off of that product. Funny, these old people drive Cadillacs and they're bitching about a coupon.
After I got a job at Game stop (video game store). It was awesome working there but part-timers had 10 hours a week. I was working during my first year of college.
I quit Game stop and I worked for Best buy (large electronic store) for a while. No, Best buy is hell. Take my advice: Never work for Best buy!
Now I'm working at a Bakery. During my college semesters, I usually work on the weekends.

Yeah, I work at Safeway. It's challenging, both physically (ever try doing 90 degree turns with stacks of 12 carts?) and mentally ("Motor Oil? That's in isle 5"). I'm not doing it for the money, I'm doing it for the experience and the hope that when I actually NEED a job later on I can have a much easier time getting one there.
