This art of yours is seriously impressive. I especially like the first one. I never knew something as amazing as that could be created from a mere pencil.

Thanks guys. =) And yes, Guv'na...that first one took me awhile to do. A lot of patience was required. =/
Here's one that I did months ago for a co-worker. The two babies are her grandkids, and the puppy was her daughter's. I added precious moments in the corners just to make it look pretty. Heh, they loved it. Sorry for the low quality of my digital cam. >.<

I'm currently doing an acrylic painting on a canvas for another co-worker, so I'll upload that here once I finish. And they're not getting charged too! I'm so nice like that.

Those are really good M. I wish it was a better picture of it though.

Gawwwwwwwwwwww!
These are amazing sketches. I've tried my hand at realism, but couldn't quite capture light and shadow correctly. You, on the other hand, seem to have a near-flawless grasp upon it.
Keep it up. I'd like to see more.

Thanks for the compliment!
Finally finished it! I'm taking this to work in a few hours to give to my co-worker. I kinda wanna keep it now. >.< Hmm, I must say that I really need to work on the water and its realism though. But I'm too lazy. I don't really like drawing on a canvas. =/ Note, however, that this is not an original painting of mine. I don't know where the picture came from...just randomly found it in my laptop. I'm guessing my bro or husband saved it since it was so purdy. xD

You painted that!
Truly awesome! I like how you did the scenery and whatnot, working from white.
I never really could draw landscape, myself.
How big is the canvas, I'd like to ask?

Aww thanks! The canvas is 14 X 11. Quite small, yes. Her choice, not mine. I'm actually glad it isn't any bigger than that...otherwise, I probably would've lose my mind.
And yeah, I had to start my work from white because frankly, I didn't know where to start at first. So I figured white was the safest place to start, lol. If anyone can give me critiques on how to work with the water and make it look more realistic, please do. I've worked hours trying to make it look real, but I simply can't.

The water looks fine in my opinion.
I think that making the water look more realistic would just ruin the picture, 'cause it wouldn't go with the structure style-wise.
But then again, I kinda stink making water-replicas myself.
