Visual Novels
Does anyone here play any visual novels? For those of you who don't exactly know what a visual novel is, visit the wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visual_novel

I've played a few myself like: Fate/Stay Night, Tsukihime, Yume Miru Kusuri, Ever17, Utawarerumono, and a few others.

Some I just started to play: True Remembrance, Wind - a breath of heart, and Narcissu.

Not dating sims though.

I play Famicom Tantei Club part 2, which is a detective styled/horror visual novel. The story is great and finding the clues is fun too. There's the elements of horror and some comic relief all bundled into one game.

Unfortunately, it's never had an American release, so you'll have to find the translation patch for it in order to play it unless you read Japanese.

I downloaded the ROM but it was in Japanese. Did you get a translated version?

Heard and seen them, but my Vista is such a sensitive bitch, get's a virus from every damn little thing; so internet tools is a no no.

I downloaded a bunch of CGI packages of games, so there are those pics that I have I suppose *shrugs*

I found the patch, but the readme doesn't say how to properly use it....

You're supposed to get some sort of utility that patches the translation onto your ROM. But since I don't use ZSNES, I wouldn't know how that works. I think Tifa's husband might have gotten it to work. Ask her about it.

I've just gotten a japanese version of clannad. It seems to hang when I press something on the menu. Is this because my computer cannot display Japanese characters?
