Heh. I don't think you'll have to worry about that. Remember Cowboy Bebop? Samurai Champloo? Neither of those anime had energy blasts or massive veins popping out of the characters' foreheads when they got angry. It was all about skill and strategy. In fact, hardly any anime actually do that anymore. It was mainly just cliche Shounen anime back in the 1980's. Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that I'm happy about Batman being turned into an anime and am still quite confident that it's going to suck bigtime. I'm just saying that you probably shouldn't be too concerned about it becoming a cliche Shounen anime.
That being said, I am kinda tired of American animation being drawn in that annoying quasi-anime, mock-Japanese style. As a fan of both, I must say that it's kind of insulting to both media. If you ask me, animators should just stick to their strengths instead of trying to appeal to a completely different market. While I'm not neccessarily worried that this will turn out as a massively stereotypical Shounen anime, I still don't have much confidence in it.
