...um, Trunks never went SSJ3. The only SSJ3s in the entire DB/Z/GT compilation were Goku and Gotenks. In terms of SSJ transformations, here is how it goes:
Goku: GSSJ, SSJ, SSJg2, SSJg3/USSJ, FSSJ, SSJ2, SSJ3, SSJ4
Gohan: SSJ, FSSJ, SSJ2
Goten: SSJ
Vegeta: SSJ, SSJg2, SSJg3/USSJ, SSJ2, SSJ4
Trunks (Chibi): SSJ
Trunks (Future): SSJ, SSJg2, SSJg3/USSJ
Gogeta: SSJ (possibly SSJ2 and SSJ3, but SSJ was the only one shown), SSJ4
Vegito: SSJ
That's basically all the Saiyan transformations shown. Legend:
GSSJ - Giji Super Saiya-jin/False Super Saiya-jin
SSJ- Super Saiya-jin
SSJg2 - Super Saiya-jin Second Grade
SSJg3/USSJ - Super Saiya-jin Third Grade/Ultra Super Saiya-jin
FSSJ - Super Saiya-jin Full Power*
SSJ2 - Super Saiya-jin 2
SSJ3 - Super Saiya-jin 3
SSJ4 - Super Saiya-jin 4
* - In this form, there is no energy depreciation, and the unwanted personality changes are not present.

Yeah that's also what I didn't like. By the time everyone and their grandma could become super saiya-jin all the human characters pretty much became useless. :(

Yeah...the days where Tien and Piccolo were considered Goku's rivals where way in the past come the end of the Cell saga. I would have preferred the "weaker" characters retain some usefulness...but oh, well.
I never liked how Gohan went from being an unbeatable force as SSj2 to a pushover as a teen.

Blech. He became exactly what his mother wanted--a bookworm.
He became respectable for a short period of time as "Mystic Gohan," but that didn't last long. I always wanted him to kick butt again like he did in the fight against Cell...but it never happened.

Agreed... Actually, one of my favorite characters is Kid Gohan. Not the grown-up version.
And yup. Love the show, quite nice. But I miss the older ones. And I'm getting tired of all the shoes with a letter in the name. Dragonball GT, Yu-Gi-Oh GX..... it spreads, although I can't think of anymore right now...
My favorite characters are among Vegeta, Raditz and Nail.

Yes I absolutely loved kid Gohan. He was fiesty yet good natured. When he entered his teenage years... well he was a lot like Goku, which I just can not see happening especially after some of the things that happened during the cell games. If anything, I would have seen him to be much more like Piccolo in his adult years. Piccolo was the one that trained him and he was much more of a father figure than Goku was to Gohan. Also the Great Saiyaman? Seriously, I can not see kid Gohan growing up to become that.
Now I could completely see Goten being very simular to Goku... but Goten was even worse in his teenage years. >.<

Whoa, I don't usually hear Raditz or Nail mentioned when favorite characters are being discussed.
Yeah, I like those dudes as well. It always sorta bugged me that Raditz was considered to be so weak by his peers (namely Vegeta and Nappa). I would have liked to see him survive long enough to become a bit more powerful. |
