Taiwanese drama plagiarize Cloud’s costume
Cloud’s costume was stolen by a drama which will be broadcast in Taiwan starting from August 8, 2007 (9-10pm).
This drama is known as “The X Family” and being produced by Gala Television Corporation (GTV in short) in Taiwan. In the drama, the main actor’s costume is in common with the main character Cloud Strife in Final Fantasy VII – Advent Children.
The followings are the officially website of “The X Family”, the close-up of the main actor clothing in the drama, and The X Family’s interview and preview on Youtube.
Being the fans of Final Fantasy VII-Advent Children, we are really being upset by this drama, and the deceiving action by GTV. Their actions, just like the incident of PV “Temptation of Sonata” in Korea.
We hope Final Fantasy’s fans can spread this information. Don’t let GTV think plagiarism is allowable.

I don’t know, the costume is close, but it’s not a perfect copy. So plagiarism would be a pretty had case to prove… if (no offense) anyone cared. Besides, since when have any of those countries cared about international copyright laws?
