"All" movies?
Anyway, Advent Children is set two years after the events of FFVII, so yes it is the continuation of a game.

What other movies? You mean all the parts of the Compilation?

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children takes place 2 years after the game, and yes, most certainly the game came first :/
