The Matrix revolutionized action scenes in movies forever. If the fights in AC were reminiscent of "The Matrix" it's no big shock or big deal. It's to be expected. Think about it this way, let's say for example, the first ever colour movie was "The Three Stooges". If so, then this movie would have created something, an idea that would improve the experience of all movies. Does anybody look at any of the colour movies after "The Stooges" and say, "Duuuh, nah man, that movie reminds me of 'The Three Stooges'... Duuuuh, I like ice cream". No, because it's stupid. Same thing here.
