I agree with Saix.

The graphics were pretty awesome, but if there was something to point that was bad about the movie, it would be the pointless plot.
And the feel of the movie was nothing like the feel of the game ---- but that was to be expected.

also why were there so few cutscenes and why was the story so focused on cloud anyway?

whatever happened to barret/vincent/tifa/nanaki/cait sith(or reeve)/cid/marlene and the turks

also why did the movie want to express "the dead dont sleep" so much?

i love finding out more about the tifa/aeris/cloud love triangle and i wish cloud could just be with aeris cause you know they both want it. plus i always wanted to hear what cloud's voice would sound like and its cool to see all the characters with such amazing graphics. plus i heard XIII is supposed to have graphics resembling this during gameplay and if so...wow.

It was kind of slow in the beginning. It took, what, a half hour, to get started? But I liked it. Especially when Reno got locked out . . .

Of course it's not like the actual FFVII, otherwise it'd be a re-make.

The film did a perfect job of adding onto the story and clearing up a lot of left confusion. Rufus; the Zack/Cloud/Aeris triangle; Sephiroth clones; JENOVA...

A beauty to look at, action that had me on the edge of my seat, and a slew of characters that we all love to death. Great movie; there was no way I was disliking this one!

The movie didn't concretely clear up any confusion. There will never be anything concrete surrounding Cloud/Tifa/Zack or Aeris, because that's the way SE wants it.

It was nice to look at most of the time, but Yazoo and Loz were pretty much completely useless, and it was quite obvious they were just thrown on as an afterthought.

The Love Triangle wasn't cleared up either, cause throughout the entire compilation, SE has thrown pro's and con's supporting either pairing, and will continue to do so.

The other characters besides Cloud and Tifa (and maybe) Vincent, were given parts that pretty much just looked like hand-outs, and made them all look incompetent. Other than the Bahamut fight, they did nothing but stand around, because the whole movie was about how sad and 'badass' Cloud was at the same time. Oh, and not one of the characters besides Cloud even made a scratch on Bahamut, so I fail to see how they were any help at all except in a piss-poor attempt to make them look like they were working together when they 'threw' Cloud up into the air.

Because, as well all remember from the game, Cloud defeated every enemy, and every boss entirely by himself.

Oh, but I forgot, Cloud's supposed to be at some ridiculously higher level than the rest of the cast, cause it's convenient for story-telling and fight scenes.

And how did this film give any of the characters any more depth? The other characters were barely in it xD and Nanaki had one (or two, I still believe he had only one until someone shows me a script, but not that it matters cause...2 fucking lines? Please.)

Oh, I forgot, they had Yuffie look a little nauseated, that did create more depth, even though we knew she was air-sick and materia crazed before hand.

Cloud was sad, and searching for forgiveness/atonement, even though he didn't really seem as emo at the end of VII, as he was through pretty much all of AC.

In VII Cloud and the gang, fought Sephiroth, used 'teamwork', and Cloud felt forgiveness to a certain extent.

In AC, Cloud and a retarded form of the gang, fought 3 forms of Sephiroth, 2 useless, used the patented teamwork 'throwing' action, and Cloud felt forgiveness to a certain extent.

Wow. What a great film.

err i luv'd it, everytime i saw it...just made me want to watch it again...i dont know how you couldnt say a thing bad about it >:(
like seriously it had Cait sith for only 10 seconds like OMG YAY!!!
